We are aware that global conservation is one of our business missions, and remain in harmony with global society, always striving for “environmentally-friendly manufacturing,” and under the international philosophy of “sustainable development”, we will contribute to a recycling-oriented society.
Approach to the Achievement of SDGs
We are committed to reducing energy use and creating a workplace where everyone feels fulfilled.
Emissions from business activities, we will promote renewal of energy-saving facilities and promotion of the use of renewable energy with the goal of reducing CO2 emissions by 45% from the 2015 level by 2030.
We will contribute to the achievement of the SDGs by aiming to expand the production volume of high-voltage, control, and electrical components by 30% from the FY2020 level by 2030 through the improvement of low-cost technologies for in-vehicle electrical components to prepare for the spread of EV and HEV vehicles.
In addition, we will actively promote the appointment of female employees and place them in a wide range of workplaces, aiming to realize a society in which all women who wish to be active in their work can fully demonstrate their individuality and skills.
